So please consider donating to your team and help us stomp out Breast Cancer.

Learn CPR at SA4

13 Aug

Dear Superheroes Anonymous 4 attendees,

We have received a tremendous opportunity to have the Red Cross teach a course in CPR and First Aid. This will take the place of the workshop classes. The Red Cross has offered to teach this class at a discount price of $40.00 per person. Once the members take this 6 ½ hour course, they will be certified to administer CPR for one year and First Aid for three years.

Please take advantage of this offer now. The deadline to register is August 27, Please pay your registration at signup@saportland.info.

We will be taking these classes at
Oregon Trail Chapter
3131 N. Vancouver Avenue, Portland, OR 97227
www.oregonredcross.org

These classes empower people to act in times of emergency. By being a first responder, you provide critical attention needed in the few precious minutes before EMT’s arrive. This class will help give the necessary skills you need to be effective on the streets.

So please register for this class early. Send the funds to signup@saportland.info. And take part in a class that will teach you to be a better Superhero.

Superheroes Anonymous 4 Update

15 Jun

We just had our first planning meeting. Individuals interested in attending Superheroes Anonymous 4: Project Portland needs to RSVP as soon as possible. To make a reservation, send an email to signup@saportland.info. We need reservations so that we can budget for the Awards Dinner (September 19) as well as different workshops and hotel group rates.

Superheroes Anonymous is focused on Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure. Registration for this is $30. Please join the SA team at http://race.komenoregon.org/goto/superheroesanonymous. This is a excellent opportunity to raise funds as a community to cancer research. If you are joining in, please do your best to fundraise on your own. Shoot videos, flood forums and blogs, anything anyone can do to raise money on their own would be fantastic. When you do have your donation page set up, please send a link to signup@saportland.info so that we may add it to our links.
